Electronic Transactions and Personal Data

Law no.81 /2018 seeks to protect the Privacy of online users and defines and controls electronic crimes and facilitates trade and electronic transactions. Stating in its 4^th article that “Electronic writings and signatures shall have the same legal effect as the writings and signatures made on paper or any other medium …”  Which is an essential step towards creating a confidential and trustworthy online service in the country in addition to protecting online users.
